Six lighted fields tucked between Smoky Mountain cabin country and the main drag. Tournament weekends here are vacation overlap. Ride the Alpine coaster Saturday, play soccer Sunday.
Address, official field map, and turn-by-turn directions.
The Pigeon Forge Sportsplex sits in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, 15 minutes north of Gatlinburg in the heart of the Smoky Mountain tourism corridor. Six lit outdoor soccer fields tucked between cabin country and the Pigeon Forge main strip. The complex pairs naturally with Rocky Top Sports World 15 minutes south for families who want a soccer-plus-vacation weekend in the Smokies.
Pigeon Forge itself does the heavy lifting on the vacation side of the trip. Dollywood is 5 minutes away. The Island shopping and entertainment district sits 8 minutes from the fields. Mountain coasters, mini golf, dinner shows, and the start of the Smoky Mountain National Park scenic drives are all within a 20-minute radius. Few youth soccer destinations have this density of sibling entertainment within walking or short-driving distance.
Six full-size outdoor soccer fields, mix of natural grass and synthetic turf, lit for evening matches. FIFA-standard dimensions, marked for 11v11 with portable goals swapped in for 9v9 brackets at younger ages.
The fields sit at moderate elevation in the Smoky Mountain foothills. Morning matches in spring and fall are cool. Summer afternoons are tempered by the elevation compared to lower-altitude southeastern complexes. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer; the turf-side fields handle the rain better than the grass-side fields.
The complex is on the north end of Pigeon Forge near the cabin-rental district. Parking surrounds the field cluster. Signage on the Pigeon Forge main strip points to the venue.
The fields are arranged in a compact grid, with the field-to-field walk maxing at 4 to 5 minutes. Compact compared to Rocky Top Sports World or larger destinations.
The major soccer events at Pigeon Forge include:
Most weekend tournaments are 2-day events with 3 to 4 game guarantees. Some larger weekends use both Pigeon Forge and Rocky Top Sports World as paired venues, with teams playing across both complexes.
The Pigeon Forge Sportsplex also hosts baseball, softball, and lacrosse events on the same field rotation. Some weekends overlap soccer with other sports, which tightens hotel and cabin inventory in the area but expands the family options for siblings of different ages.
Parking: Free, adjacent to the field cluster.
Spectator admission: $5 to $15 per spectator per day depending on the tournament.
Concessions: Food vendors at the fields during tournament weekends. Less extensive than the larger destination complexes; plan to leave for Pigeon Forge restaurants between matches.
Restrooms: Permanent buildings.
Medical: Sevier Medical Center is 4 minutes east in Sevierville.
Pigeon Forge attractions: Dollywood (5 minutes), the Island (8 minutes), Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, the Comedy Barn, mountain coasters at multiple locations, miniature golf, the WonderWorks indoor attractions building.
Smoky Mountain National Park: 30 minutes south. Free admission.
Pets: Service animals only at the fields. Most Pigeon Forge cabin rentals are pet-friendly.
