16 fields a 20-minute drive from Gulf Shores beach. Tournament weekends here pair soccer with a Saturday beach day for younger siblings.
Address, official field map, and turn-by-turn directions.
The Foley Sports Tourism Complex sits in Foley, Alabama, 20 minutes inland from Gulf Shores Beach on the Gulf Coast. The complex opened in 2017 and has grown into one of the more underrated youth soccer destinations in the southeast. Sixteen full-size outdoor soccer fields, lit for evening matches, plus a 90,000-square-foot indoor field house for winter and rain-day events.
The differentiator is the Gulf Shores beach context. Most tournament weekends in the southeast happen in metro areas with limited family-vacation appeal beyond the soccer. Foley pairs the tournament weekend with one of the genuinely good Gulf Coast beach destinations within 20 minutes. Sibling beach days, evening seafood dinners, and Sunday-afternoon decompression at the beach are easy.
Sixteen full-size outdoor soccer fields, mix of natural Bermuda grass and synthetic turf. All fields lit for evening matches. Standard FIFA dimensions, marked for 11v11 with portable goals swapped in for 9v9 brackets at younger ages.
Championship Stadium (Field D) at the south end serves as the showpiece field for finals and the larger showcase events, with bleacher seating for several hundred spectators. The indoor Field House (Field A) on the south end provides the rain backup and the year-round indoor option for winter futsal events.
The fields are well-drained and engineered for Alabama Gulf-coast humidity. Tournaments during May, June, and July deliver real heat; pop-up tents on the sideline are not optional during summer weekends.
The address is 920 East Pride Boulevard, Foley AL 36535. The Field House (A) and Championship Stadium (D) sit on the south end of the complex. Food vendors (Building B) and the drop-off zone are central. Parking is on the perimeter around the field clusters.
