The honest overview

IberCup ECNL International Raleigh

IberCup ran its first United States edition at WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh over Labor Day weekend 2026, September 4 to 7. The event is a partnership between IberCup, which has run international youth tournaments in Europe for years, and ECNL.

Format

Competition is 7v7 at boys U11 and U12 only. There are no girls divisions in this edition. Every team is guaranteed five games across the four days, with group play feeding a knockout bracket so each side plays for a championship rather than dropping out after pool games.

Who plays

More than 200 teams entered, drawn from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and the United States. Confirmed international clubs include Benfica, FC Porto, Palmeiras, Gremio, Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and Everton, playing alongside domestic ECNL academies.

Registration

The 2026 edition sold out at full capacity and regular registration is closed. IberCup keeps a waitlist through the contact form on its site for clubs hoping to fill a late opening.
