Address, official field map, and turn-by-turn directions.
USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan is the home rink of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP), the federation’s elite under-17 and under-18 player development program. The complex sits 25 minutes northwest of downtown Detroit and hosts a steady rotation of national-team competitions, AAA youth tournaments, and showcase events through the year. Two NHL-standard ice sheets, plus a cafe upstairs overlooking the ice for parents to watch warm-ups and games from.
The NTDP pedigree shapes the venue. Players who train here include future NHL draft picks and US Olympic team members. The infrastructure (ice quality, dressing rooms, training facilities, coaching staff offices) is built to professional development standards. When AAA youth tournaments come through, teams compete on the same ice surfaces the next generation of US national-team players use daily.
Two NHL-regulation ice sheets (200 feet by 85 feet), maintained to professional standards. Lighting is overhead LED, ice resurfacing happens between most games during tournament weekends. Both rinks have full glass surrounds, scorekeeper boxes, and broadcast-capable scoreboards.
Each rink has bleacher seating on both sides plus standing room along the corner glass. The seating capacity per rink is several hundred. The upper-level cafe overlooks one rink and provides an elevated viewing angle for parents who want to watch from above with food and drink.
Locker rooms are sized for full team capacity with showers, equipment drying space, and coaches’ rooms. The NTDP-grade rooms are noticeably nicer than typical youth-hockey rink locker rooms.
The address is 14900 Beck Road, Plymouth MI 48170. Two ice sheets share the main facility. The main entrance is at the west side. Parking surrounds the building on three sides.
The cafe upstairs is the parent congregating spot during tournament weekends. Food is real ($8 to $14 menu) and the view of the ice is one of the best parent-watching setups in youth hockey.
