Built for USSSA. 15 diamonds across two clusters, full irrigation, and a covered batting cage area. Twenty minutes from Cocoa Beach.
Address, official field map, and turn-by-turn directions.
The USSSA Space Coast Complex sits in Viera, Florida, on the central Atlantic coast 20 minutes inland from Cocoa Beach and an hour east of Orlando. It is the flagship venue for USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association), the largest youth baseball sanctioning body in the country. Fifteen diamonds across two clusters with full irrigation, Championship Stadium as the showpiece, plus a covered batting facility for warm-ups and clinic events. The Space Coast Stadium adjacent to the complex was formerly the spring training home of the Washington Nationals and currently hosts USSSA’s larger championship games.
What sets the Space Coast Complex apart from typical Florida youth baseball venues is the USSSA event density. This is the venue USSSA built its tournament empire around. World Series weeks, ranking events, and the major points-bearing tournaments all run here. If your team is chasing USSSA bids, you will end up here at some point.
Fifteen full-size baseball diamonds across two clusters. Eight diamonds on the north side, seven on the south. Field dimensions range from 60-foot bases (8U-10U) to 90-foot (15U and above). Most fields are natural Bermuda grass with the dedicated synthetic-turf cluster serving as the rain backup and the showcase rotation for major events.
Championship Stadium sits at the center between the two clusters with seating for several thousand spectators. This is where the World Series finals, the championship games, and the major showcase events play. The press box has full PA, scoreboard, and live-streaming infrastructure.
A covered batting cage area provides shaded warm-up space, which matters in Florida summer heat. Most teams use the cages 30 to 45 minutes before their first game and between rounds during long pool play days.
The address is 5800 Stadium Parkway, Viera FL 32940. Championship Stadium and the synthetic-turf cluster sit around the central parking lot. Baseball diamonds 1 through 8 occupy the north side. The softball cluster runs on the south side.
The official USSSA Space Coast field map shows the field numbering. Worth saving offline before tournament weekends.
The major events at the USSSA Space Coast Complex include:
Most weekend events are 3-game minimum guarantee with bracket play. World Series weeks run 5 to 7 days with bracket play extending through the week.
The Space Coast Complex hosts softball tournaments on the southern cluster on a parallel calendar to the baseball schedule. The adjacent Space Coast Stadium (former Washington Nationals spring training site) hosts the major championship games and occasional independent or developmental league baseball.
The Cocoa Beach area attractions (Kennedy Space Center, the Atlantic coast beaches, Port Canaveral) sit within 20 minutes of the complex and serve as the off-day family entertainment for tournament weekends.
